Sonic Tomography
Scan your tree for internal decay or defects.
The Arbotom uses soundwaves to scan a cross section of the tree and interprets the results to give a reading on the internal structure of the tree and provides an estimated loss in wood strength. We can scan your tree and interpret the results to aid in your tree management decisions.
Plant Pest & Disease Diagnosis
There are several insects, pathogens, animals, and fungi that use trees as hosts as well as number of external non-living factors. Some of these relationships can just a part of the natural cycle, some may be beneficial and some may be harmful to trees.
We can help you to determine cause of the issue and using the latest plant health care (PHC) and integrated pest management (IPM) methods come up with solutions. Remember just because you see an insect or fungi on your tree does not always mean it is harmful and may actually be benefiting the tree or the local ecosystem.
Butternut Health Assessments
Butternut trees are an endangered species of tree in Ontario.
A butternut health assessment is required by the Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks prior to being allowed to injure or destroy a butternut in Ontario. We have certified Butternut Health Assessors on staff that can help guide you through this process.

Value appraisals on trees can be conducted for several reasons.
Including assessing the value it adds to your property, the value to replace a tree if damaged or removed, value of the harvestable product from the tree, or value of functional replacement in the landscape or ecosystem.
